Raihyung received his B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Neuroscience from Seoul National University, Republic of Korea.

Raihyung was previously in the UCLA consciousness & metacognition lab from Fall of 2019, and then joined the UCLA reasoning lab in Fall of 2021. He investigates cognitive processes giving rise to our subjective experience of self, including the sense of agency and the awareness of one’s own beliefs and desires. His methodology spans behavioral experiments, computational modeling, and neuroimaging techniques.
